Funding a Water Treatment Plant

Find out more.Clean Water--a basic human right

  • Each community water treatment plant can serve 350-400 people per day. The community contributes to the cost of building the water plant by purchasing a portion of the parts and providing the labor for construction. To partner with a village and provide this life-giving community project, the investment is $4200.
  • Along with the construction comes education, testing, and oversight. CONAPAC provides these critical services to insure success of each community’s water project and the best return on your investment dollar. The cost of this portion of the project is $1800.
  • Many donors give to the whole project ($6000). Some help with the individual components, while others give whatever amount they can, which we bundle with other donations to form one project. Whatever is comfortable for you is of value to CONAPAC and the Amazon residents we serve.
