CHILDREN AT THE HEART
Dear Friends,
As I reflect on 2024, I am struck by the strength and resilience of the Amazonian communities we are
privileged to partner with—and by the generosity of donors like you who make this work possible. This
past year, CONAPAC continued to focus on what matters most: building healthier, stronger, and more
hopeful futures for children and families across the rainforest.
All of CONAPAC’s work is for the communities' children, now and in the future, whether learning about
and understanding the rainforest through environmental education, gaining access to clean drinking
water to help diminish childhood waterborne illnesses, or planting a fruit tree for its nutritional benefits.
When CONAPAC engages with communities about conservation and sustainability, it aims to ensure that
the children of those communities have the same, if not more, opportunities as the adults do now.
In 2024, this commitment came to life in many ways: through thousands of school supply packets
delivered to eager students, new clean water systems ensuring families stay healthy, fruit tree seedlings
that will nourish children for years to come, and community-led conservation projects that put the future
directly in the hands of local leaders. Each of these efforts is connected by one purpose—ensuring that
children grow up with the tools, health, and opportunities they need to thrive.
As you read through this annual report, I hope you see not only the impact of your support but also the
spirit of partnership that drives everything we do. Thank you for standing with us, for believing in the
power of education, clean water, sustainable development, and conservation, and for making a difference
in the lives of Amazonian children and their communities.
