To kick off GivingTuesday this year we are announcing a donor matching event. For the sixth year in a row, one of our anonymous donors is challenging all to match their $7500. You can answer that call!
Today, on GivingTuesday and the rest of December, we hope you will donate to our Adopt-A-School program to help us provide school supplies to every child in our partner communities. Our end-of-year goal is 65,000, and we believe we can reach it with your help! (All donations are received by our partners, the Detroit Zoo; 100% of your donation is transferred directly to CONAPAC.) Every child deserves the opportunity to learn and succeed. Help us give them the tools they need.

-Give. On December 2, go to https://www.conapac.org/be-involved and give. There you can see ways to support us in our mission to promote conservation of the rainforest through education.
-Spread the word. Encourage your friends and family to join you in creating real impact on December 2 by sharing what our mission means to you and why you support our organization
How We Use Your Donations
Funds from our Adopt-A-School program support a comprehensive effort to strengthen learning in our partner communities. Your contributions help us:
Purchase developmentally appropriate school supplies, books, sports balls and toys.
Develop, plan and carry out a week of capacity-building workshops for teachers that are focused on environmental education.
Connect education specialists with rural schools through start-of-year visits and end-of-year evaluations that offer hands-on support.
Supporting young learners has been a core priority for CONAPAC since the beginning of our community partnerships. The school supplies each child receives ease the financial burden on families—reducing pressure on forest resources—and help improve student motivation and attendance.
Your generosity directly equips children with the tools they need to learn, grow, and develop a deep appreciation for the rainforest they call home. As these students become the next generation of forest guardians, their stewardship will ensure a stronger future for both their communities and the Amazon.
